I spent 4 years ther whilst in the RAF

Findhorn is a beautiful place and really worth the visit.

There is a tale that there is a submerged town beneath the sea bed just off the coast and at night the sunken church towers bell can be heard tolling.

In the sunshine Findhorn bears a great resemblance to many of the coastal bays of the South of France.

Not to be missed.

I am English living in Scotland, and has to be said the most beautiful place in Britain. We have it all up here, coastline, valleys and mountains. Who could possibly want more. Yes of course Findhorn is worth a visit.

Not much there, two pubs. It's quite a nice little ex-fishing village, but it's not really handy for anywhere. I'm from Forres, originally, so it wasn't much of a commute

Re:Stephen, the story is that there are 3 others. One under the water and 2 under the Sand. One is supposed to be under Culbin Forrest (a dune area until forcibly forested before the war). I don't believe half of it , but there you are.

I lived there for a short time in the late 60s. It's beautiful and peaceful and I loved it. The locals were extremely friendly and kind too.
I don't know what it's like now but I don't imagine it's changed very much.

Yes I have. My Daughter lived near there once and took me around the 'commune'.
If you are of the enquiring mind type, want peace and quiet with some spiritual addition, you won't find a better place. Monty Don did a TV programme from there and it was very informative. He loved it.
