"First" moon landing attempt - you're nearly 40 years too late.

Don't tell me you're another of those conspiracy nutters.

Why sod around sending the crims to the moon - send them to the sun.

We landed on the Moon. It's a matter of scientific fact. Get over it. Honestly, there's a mountain of basic, incontrovertible, scientific evidence that conclusively proves that we went to the Moon. It should tell you something that no scientist rejects the lunar landings, because scientists would be the first people to pick up on something fishy about the landings.

I know that I'm wasting my time discussing these elementary facts with you, but consider the following:
1) Several Apollo missions left behind retroreflectors that astronomers have detected thousands of times.
2) Independent (that is, non-NASA affiliated) radio telescopes were able to detect the transmissions of the Apollo spacecraft coming from the Moon. If there hadn't been a ship on the Moon, these telescopes wouldn't have heard anything.
3) The Moon rocks have been positively identified as being of lunar origin. Geologists have explained that there's no way to fake them.

And what evidence do you have? Bad science? Faulty common sense? Seriously, if you're going to spit upon the courage of the Apollo astronauts, you had better be able to back it up with legitimate evidence. But you're not going to find any because the landings were real.

I say you're an idiot. The first landing has already happened, as has the second, thrid, fourth, fifth and sixth, all between 1969 and 1972. They were a success because trained test pilots were used as crewmen. How will you go about training criminals to fly a moonship? Why waste the time and effort?

not only would this not be the first moon landing. It would not even be the second. apollo 11,12,14-17 all landed on the moon. Pull out your telescope. there is light reflector on the moon to measure it's distance to earth by using a lazer. This could not work if they had not been to the moon. If you send criminals up there i wouldn't want to go. I don't think they would want to come back to go to prison and if they stay who would want to go up. Worst idea ever!! ( not even a new idea since the moon landings have happened and you stole that)

I think the first moon landing should contain nothing but the conspiracy nuts, because THAT would shut 'em up. And, they wouldn't be smart enough to get back home, killing two birds with one stone.

The first moon landing already happened... the second will be the one you mean... and what makes you think it hasn't all been done before... and that earth isn't the penal colony;-)
