Can someone tell me why he went...I vowed never to ask another Mccann question but had to ask....thanks.

Why do people still want some of us to leave the Mccann's alone....stop slating them? if you don't like the questions and answers from (the Anit-Mccann's as you call them) don't read what we put....
I for one will NEVER let it alone while these two advocate what they did was "reasonable parenting" and that they did nothing wrong.
COME ON PEOPLE THEY NEGLECTED THEIR CHILDREN......ONE WENT MISSING.....HOW CAN THAT BE RIGHT????
How can we feel that because it happened we should feel sorry for them? what about the child? its her I feel sorry for!
I would not wish what's happened to them to happen to anyone but I cannot forgive or forget the way they've behaved beforehand or since....and I feel its shameful for anyone who can't see that...
The very fact they left their children is bad enough but to swan around the WORLD stating they we're responsible is criminal in itself..........
They did leave her had they not none of this would have happened.......................FACT!!!!!
Answer that one ....................not why you feel for what they're going through now.....I'm bloody sure the child's gone through much, much more........

I heard he was in LA selling the movie rights to Warner Bros and he wants to use Maddie's sister to play Maddie so it will be a true likeness and the McCanns will play themselves apparently he has been seen drunk in Tapas Bars around Redeo Drive as he is trying to get in to charactor.
Faith; there has never been a sighting of Maddie there so why would you put any effort there, did Mrs Bush know where she is, Gerry also met Minister for Internal Affairs, I suppose Gerry just wanted to make sure that the dumb American people knew that leaving your children in a hotel room while you go out and get hammered is not a good idea because American parents are just too stupid right.
I hope Daddy Gorden Brown with his parternal instincts sends these two on one of those Labour developed parental scheemes where you are taught by the state how to look after children proper like. Dont give your kids Chicken Nuggets everyday of the week just one day a week, then next night fish fingers, next night Pizza, next night McD's. They will learn their ar5es some respect.
We have to face facts, she was most probably kidnapped by a local padeo, has been molested and murdered and is buried within a 30 mile radius and the McCanns have no one else to blame but themselves; I hope they feel the meal was worth it.

I think he went to try and elicit sympathy from the American's, seeing as there are more and more poeple in the UK who are sick of his self-deification and lack of responsibility in this case. Perhaps he thought the Yanks would be more sympathetic....
Unfortunately for him he was slightly wrong..

I resent the fact that now all parents from the UK will be viewed with suspicion by the Yanks, due to Gerry and his team using the "cultural differences" excuse, saying, in a nutshell, that all of us are more than willing to neglect our children in favour of going out drinking. Cultural difference, my Ar*e, this is nothing to do with culture, it's to do with stupidity. I am disappointed that it takes the US media to ask the questions that the UK media seems to be too scared to ask.

He went to increase his publicity stunts and to raise money for the fund, not the Madeleine one (I don't think that really existed the way they went on) but the one they use to fund themselves.

Gerry McCann visited the US to spread awareness of his missing Madeleine and to get involved in the cause of missing children. He taking up any & every offer to keep his Madeleine in the news, wouldn't you?
