it's internal, inregrated into the chassis (if you mean a desktop of course).

It usually comes with a casing. Unless you wanna get a better one. Just go to back of your computer and look where the power cable is plugged. If you open the casing, you should see a small box at the back of the computer. Most of the time top back of the casing.

You can buy computer power supply (box) without the case, but a case always comes with it.
i wish you are not talking to an AVR. try to brown in the net yourself..it comes with different wattage.

some cases come with a power supply some do not . go to www.tigerdirect.com look to right . you will see cases click it and you will see options for cases with or without if you look farther down you will see power supplies if you need parts they have great prices.

its inside gray metal case is the power supply with wires coming out of it connecting to the motherboard.
