When you're in love age doesn't matter. Age difference (if a lady is older than a guy) matters only to others who need a good topic to gossip on, and families who aren't in favour of those relationships. However, you should always bear in mind, that a big age difference may show in various ways in the future in the sense that two people with a big age difference have different needs, desires, interests etc.

age does matter when we talked about legality i.e. Under age/minor. But other than that there is no other reason not to love. I didn't say that you can't love a minor or as a minor but as I've said legality is superior when it comes to practicing rights. LOVE can wait anyways so it should not be a problem.
And about the lady 9 years older than him.. there should be no problem as long as he is mature enough and as long as he did not do it according to his curiosity.

Age doesn't matter in love. When it matters is when you have an 90 year old with a 60 or 70 year old who cannot handle the healthcare issues before them married to an elder.

It does and it doesn't matter; too many variables in this type of question.
Obviously it matters if one is 15 and the other is 25.... or if one is 32 and the other is 79.....
Then again it wouldn't really matter if both were of legal age and sound mind....
Until one of them changed and then they grow apart, but, that can happen if they're the SAME age.

It depends from person to person ,as for some it matters but for some like Ur friend it doesn't matter,if Ur friend really love the lady it doesn't matter,as all that matter is there happiness

no unless the ages crosses bounds. example 12 and 21 year old bad, 20 and 29 year old ok. Im 9 years older than my fiance.

i agree that when it comes to the matter of the heart...you have to expect the unexpected.today i might say that age will not be a factor but another day would come and i can and probably will say differently...love goes beyond age and borders but it may need more work to keep it together...so it really depends on the person...

love is all that should really matter. of course the ages have to be acceptable though. we don't want a 39 year old man going around with a 4 year old. so i guess it would matter in that case.
