Never underestimate the value of a "meow". The soft, diplomatic answer is often the best. Of course, as King, I occasionally "roar" as you need to prove that you still can when you are King.

I rarely meow, I save meowing for when I really mean something.
I roar quite a bit.
Likely a little to much.
It used to be the other way around for me before I realized I was a Fairy Princess Gypsy Queen!
