As you are proably aware, PMPO is a pretty meaningless figure, as it fluctuates wildly depending on on the amp, the speakers and the cable. It was often used by manufacturers of poor quality kit, to make it seem more powerful than it really is.

An output of 200 watts RMS could equal anything between 1,500 and 3,000 watts PMPO. Stick with the RMS figure though, that's the real one!
