Many theories which were once accepted as scientific truths were later refuted by subsequent ones or advances in technology. Do you think that this will happen in the future about something we accept as a truth today?

I can think of a few:
- That an asteroid killed off the dinosaurs
- That Global warming will cause the ice caps to melt
- Various theories about the origin of the universe

It is sad to say but many of us believe the world is flat and never ending ... it is also the basis for many of the philosophies and theories we cling to.

We wouldn't have pollution nor threat of global warming.

Weapons don't make us correct. (Teach this one)

Proof doesn't mean it will be adopted either, consider racism. We know better but it is still applied.
