Ok, so on Saturday i bought a new computer with a wide screen monitor. Its 20inch, but now when i log onto youtube, the videos that are normally fine are now all stretched, pixely and distorted. How can I fix this?

it seems alot of things are stretched, but it seems as though youtube videos are the most stretched.

Also I have the latest flash player.

You are running your widescreen monitor at a non-widescreen resolution and the monitor is stretching everything to fit.

Change your desktop resolution to match the native resolution of the monitor and everything will look better.

Was there a CD that came with your monitor. Some of them highly recommend installing the software that comes with it. You might want to try that as well as make sure you have the latest drivers for your video card.

well first question is this.. is it just youtube? if not you might want to adjust your display settings. now if i remember correctly youtube uses a flash player (not sure) if it does make sure your flash player is updated and everything else while your at it. :-)

good luck

Try changing the resolution and updating the drivers.
