I haven't turned to a person for comfort in several years, I learned not to after the last time. Now I just turn to my pad and pen and write, write, write some more

What comforts me best is to know that I am comforting sweet sensitive persons by giving them my sincere loving opinion.
Yet, when in sorrow I am blessed for having 2 childhood friends I can turn to. And some..adult friends from here - it is true!
And now, I am so touched with Irish's answer, me being her Godmother, I will go and spank her for being so naughty talking about me like that!!!
I love you my darling godaughter!!

My husband, but sadly it didn't work! Now that my mom has passed away, I rarely turn to anyone for comfort! I think moms are the best for that! Husbands either think you're crazy/moody or try to solve your problem w/ some "simple solution," when all you want is someone to listen and to lean on. At least for me that's how it is - I'm sure not all men are like that!!!!

Can you believe that? I am so blessed that I stumble upon P&S and got to know many good people. And this special lady, we became friend and now she is my Y!A Godmother. She is the best person I know and whenever I'm sad, she is always here for me and give me comfort. Her words like magic, it could bring me back alive from hell.

My boyfriend, since he is usually the most available...
But I find my mother to be the most comforting when I'm really stressed or hurt.

I don't "turn" to people for comfort. I think it's weak. People should learn to depend on themselves.
