They mentioned in like one of the first episodes that it was over money. Like Danielle borrowed money from Dick and never payed him back. Then on tonight's episode she mentioned that he is more like an evil friend than a father. She says he constantly puts her down and never listens to her. So there is really many reasons for their problems.

The main reason is over money that Dick gave to Danielle,under the promise that she would pay it back.Danielle has not payed him back,and it's rumored that the money went towards Danielle's cosmetic surgery.
Also,it's obvious on the show that the relationship between Dick and Danielle is quite damaged.I think it goes beyond money,they don't communicate very well.

umm i think they had problems before and he kept calling and she wouldnt call back and then they just never spoke idk that might not be the main reason but thats part of it
