If Orlando didn't trade their 1993 no.1 draft pick to Golden State how many rings would they have?

Orlando is always lucky come draft nights, imagine having the no. 1 pick for two consecutive seasons (Shaq and C-Webb). If they didin't trade C-Webb for Penny could they have won a championship? If so how many rings would the duo have?

Thanks Dude_27 for the kind reaction. Just wanted to ask this 'what if' like could it have altered history? Could the said Orlando team halt the Bulls dynasty? I just wanted to get opinions from you guys that's all.

I think Horace went to Orlando at the end of the 1994 season. So there's a one year diference. A year's gap. Remember that Orlando made it to the Finals in 1995 the same season Horace made a jump to Orlando. He is a PF like Webber. C-Web could have helped Shaq in defending Hakeem. What do you think?

As Elias pointed, at the time Scott Skiles was their main PG. Skiles is the record holder for most assist in a game. So the inclusion of Webber would have made the Magic a complete team. What do you think?

i would say 1 because, the point guard was scott skiles, and if the warriors didnt trade for c-webb, the magic would have an old pg. they already had a dominant big man in shaq, so the figured skiles is old lets replace him, and sure enough penny did that. also i remember when i was young i never knew penny hardaways real name was like anfernee so i would get confused.

No... simply because at that year, the Rocket players are still at their prime with Hakeem "the dream" Olajuwon as their main man during the 1994 season and in 95, the rockets got another hall of famer by the name of Clyde Drexler. Finally, before the season ends (1995 season), Michael Jordan came back from retirement with the Bulls acquiring Rodman during the 1996 season.
therefore, the Orlando Magic have no chance of winning a title even if Shaq and C-Webb are teammates.

by the way, no offense to C-Webb but Penny Hardaway was way better than chris webber during the 94, 95 and 96 season.

That would have been a deadly combination. I say 2 Titles because Shaq would have required a higher salary and Orlando would have let him go anyways. Some teams just never hang on to good players for a couple extra dollars.

we will never know.. if u gonna ask that im 'a ask u too what if the sonics didnt trade pippen to the bulls... or wat if the raptors didnt trade all their good picks, d.stoudemire, marcus camby, carter, mcgrady... or wat if the rockets team didnt go for barkley trade wud they all win a title... we really dont know what the present might luk like if those things in d past wud have happen, but the most important thing is basketball has still its heroes and icons and still fun to watch! sumtimes i wonder those "wat if" i just go to my playstation man and see wat it luks like... :)
