I would be honest with them about how you'll be spending your time (studying in a more quiet area) and tell them that you'll catch up with them later. Get out for a few hours and then leave early, telling them that you just need to get some things done. If they're true friends, they'll understand. The point is the balance your time between friends and studies. Don't give up one totally to give all your attention to the other.
Set up a schedule where you have designated study times. That works best for me.

No body can disturb any one unless the person lets them.
So next time you fill disturb let them know it is a very bad time, you need to be studying. Then tell them to see you - call you between certain time any day and only within that time frame, and explain that this is the time devoted strictly to accommodate the friends, you are loaded with home work and other duties and you need to do them, and you must do them first now.
If you loose them then they are not your friends.

Set time for chatting with them, as some time out is also good for studies.

Its true that friends are real companions especially among teenagers...but they should know that they too have limits. Be honest with them and tell them that you need to work. Let them know that you have drawn a line for them to control themselves. If they are your real buddies they will understand you!!

Go to the library to study, or a cafe you like...the park is always nice too.

Just tell them you dont want to be their friend or tell them you want some time alone.
If they are really your friend, they will understand.
