To date Cloverfield is only the working title for JJ Abrams new movie.
It will not be released until January 18th, 2008.
It's a Action/SciFi/Drama film revolving around a monster attack in New York as told from the point of view of a small group of people.
Sounds cool and I like Abrams work.

Before details of the film were released, the media reported numerous possibilities about what the film would be about. USA Today reported the possibilities of the film being based on the works of H.P. Lovecraft, a live-action adaptation of Voltron, a new film about Godzilla, or a spin-off of the TV show Lost. The Star Ledger also reported the possibility of the film being based on Lovecraft lore or Godzilla. The Guardian also reported the possibility of a Lost spin-off, while Time Out reported that the film was about an alien called The Parasite. IGN also backed the possibility of the same premise, with the film titled The Parasite. However, Entertainment Weekly reported that the film would not be about a parasite or a colossal Asian robot such as Voltron

Y eah I thought it would be godzilla 2 but since i heard it was gonna be a parasite i dont know. But the reason I think its godzila because I saw the first poster of it and saw three scraches on the side and the head of the statue of liberty torn off. But if it anit another godzilla that will be a good movie next year. But they need to make Godzilla 2 ASAP

Uh huh. The monster is a Lion people might say the person in the trailer says 'It's Alive and its huge!' but isnt the fact its alive obvious? Watch http://youtube.com/watch?v=IvNkGm8mxiM and at 1:19 you can clearly hear he says 'It's a lion and its huge!' Also if you look on the apple site http://www.apple.com/trailers/paramount/11808/ You can see 3 claw marks on the Statue of Liberty.

Monster movie, like godzilla or so, statue of liberty gets her head knocked off, other than that its a big secret...
