To me it means to become independent and responsible for your actions.
Learn from your mistakes.
Forgive yourself and take the necessary step to get on to a better way of life.
Do what you have to do, when it has to be done.
Be true to yourself.
Be all you can be.
Conduct yourself in such a manner that you build good memories.
Do the best you can, to the best of your ability.
Wake up each day and say a word of thanks for all you have.
Have the gift of a grateful heart.
" Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."
A very good question. Thanks.

You can experience happiness due to a cause or due to a reason. A cause might be looking at a sunrise, eating a delicious meal, having a relaxing warm bath etc. etc.
A reason to be happy can be if a loved person recovers from a sickness, when you did a good job, when you made someone really happy, when you love someone or you feel the happiness of a loved one. This all are "reasons" to be happy.
You cannot strive for happiness as such as you need either a cause or a reason to be happy. Better to find something which causes you to feel happy or to follow a path which will give you a reason to be happy or to just let happiness happen as it is just a gift given to you if you least expect or consciously wanted it. The more you consciously strive after the effect as such and not the reason the less likely you will get it.

happiness is personal, each person has there own way of being happy and it may change as the person changes.
to find real happiness is to find what is important to yourself, most people will have common interests with others but will always have something that is unique in giving them happiness, a sense of purpose can play a part in finding real happiness.

Both Joys and sorrows are the part of life. It goes by the mind. Life will be happy if you think positively,do positively. You can also derive happiness by way of helping others, needy persons.Negative thinking will not only harm your mind but also the body.

Happiness is based on happenings, situation or event. It is temporary and therefore happiness may change moment by moment.
