were very flirty with each other and last time we havent talked for 4 months (things going on in my life) he kept trying to call and email me and when i finally connected with him he was so elated and told me he didnt stop thinking about me and last nite he told me he rarely smile but smiles all the time when we talk..what is this!!? i know its not boyfriend/girlfriend..yet lol

I would call it a long distance flirty friendship turned into something sentimental, which has a high possibility of becoming more IF you actually got together.

long distance relationships are very hard to maintain. anyway, having said that, did you feel jealous when he told you about the other women? if you didn't then i guess this is just a friendly flirtation. if it had been more than that then i don't think you would have lasted 4 months without even a simple hello in response to his emails or calls even if you had other things happening in your life UNLESS THOSE OTHER THINGS INVOLVED ANOTHER GUY. you think??? if you want it go to the level of boyfriend/girlfriend, what's stopping you?

Have you ever actually met this guy? Or is it all on line. If you haven't met him, how do you know that he is who he says he is? He might be alot older than you think. So, in that case, I would call him an invisible friend. Even if you have met him, how do you know he's not talking to other girls the same way? I suspect you are WAY too young to be dating. If he wants to see you, that's fine, but meet in a public place, and learn the signs of adult predators, just in case.

I think the guy does really like you. I mean he waited for you for four months. Most guys would have left. I think it is a real good friend at the the point of close g/f b/f.'

I think the reason why he bring up other girls or even his ex is to really find out where he stands with you to see how you would react to his statement. It sound like he has true feelings for you.
