150 million?!?!? They have most certainly not sold that many ipods yet, they have sold an estimated 100 million, or slightly higher. Thats quite a big difference.. Anyway.. I say Zune
Larger Screen that is extremely clear and vivid
Scratch Proof the screen and the outer shell of the zune is 100% scratch proof.. just type in on google "ipod scratch" or something alone the lines.. you'll see a TON of picture evidence of the very scratch-prone ipods. So no need to buy the 25+ dollar case
The apple iPod came with a VIRUS PRE-INSTALLED on the ipod in 2006, what it did is installed without user verification, and by doing so slowed down you computer, this has been taken care of... but it still happened
Built-in Radio, this is unlike most other radios. it actually shows the Artist/Track info that is playing. So no more asking "what song was that??"
Customizable backgrounds, have a picture of your girlfriend? favorite game? good memories? set it as your background and it will appear slightly faded behind menu's/song selection
Twist interface, its hard to explain.. but its a whole new interface that is FAR superior to the ipods. For example, when you select an artist it will show all their albums (just like the ipod) but to the left of the album title it will show a micro-sized image of their album art.. a nice touch!
Search on Yahoo answers "iPod Help" or "iPod problem" youll get TONS of results.. now search "Zune Help" or Zune Problem" My results were:
"iPod Help" 78,416
"Zune Help" 4,324
The zune is MUCH more reliable
Color options, want Black? white? red? Halo 3? Brown? Pink? theres soo many compared to ipod's black or white
Pre-loaded content..if you dont want it delete it! at least it has it.
BATTERY LIFE... ok they both "appear" to be the same, but the editor at www.mp3.com said that they had only gotten 8-9 hours on their ipod.. while the zune was getting 11-12. even though they both had said they get 14 hours.
I could keep on listing things forever, like the headphones being magnetic preventing tangling, or that the zune can be used while its plugged into your computer.. or simple the fact that the zune can be found almost anywhere for 219.99 now, 30 dollars cheaper than the ipod..but to save time for both you and me ill end my answer now..
the verdict? GET THE ZUNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And i havnt even mentioned Wi-Fi!

The Zune's main selling point is simply that you can share music on it. Now that sounds great, but they don't mention that you can only play your "shared" song on it for a short period or a certain number of plays (I think it's 3 plays, but I'm not entirely sure on that). You also have to have a friend with a Zune to do this. Which is not as common as you'd think.
Now, the iPod has a few strong points too. First of all, it's very attractive, durable (excluding dropping it), plays video (only 30 gig and above), stores photos, and plays podcasts, and of course, can be used as a storage device as well. There's also a ton of really nice accessories out there exclusively for iPods which add some very cool features. It also has its downsides though, namely that it doesn't have radio or voice recording. It's also a bit pricey. But remember, it's insanely popular for a reason. It's a very nice product.
Now, remember that the Zune and the iPod aren't the only mp3 players out there. Creative also has some very nice products... So does Toshiba and SanDisk. you should check cNet for some good reviews on mp3 players. (link below) They'll tell you the plusses and minuses on all the top sellers and help you decide on the one you really want. :)

have you considered the other mp3 players on the market now?
iriver, archos...
just keep your options open'
i looked in to the archos 404 and really like the sound of it. i'm saving up and should have it next month.
i had an ipod for 7mos before it burned out. i like this one having such a larger screen for movies and much better color and clarity.
plus if i get the dvr adapter it becomes a mini tivo!
