Unfortunately, there is no quick way to learn how to draw realistic things. It takes a lot of practice and a lot of time (months, maybe years) to learn how to draw really good. I know this because I'm attending an art college.

The best you can do is practice as much as you can. The most important thing is to maintain proportions of the face. Start from the larger shapes and then slowly get in the details. It would be better if you ask someone to pose for you than to use photos for practice.

www.portraitartist.org/basics has some good instructions. Also here is a copy of an answer I gave to someone who wanted to draw celebrities. It may work for you.

There is an easy trick to drawing from photos if that's what you want to do. The result isn't really art, but it will be a pretty faithful reproduction of the original and will impress your friends. Here's what you do:
-Choose a photo that is large enough to show good detail. 8X10 is a good size. If it is a color shot, you will need to photocopy it in black & white.
-With a ruler and a pencil draw vertical and horizontal lines on the black and white image to make a grid. The squares of the grid should be no bigger than about a half inch. The grid should cover the entire picture.
-Your drawing paper needs to be the same shape as, and at least as big as your original image, but bigger is better. Ideally it should be twice as big. It will be easier to draw, and will look better when you have finished it.
-With your pencil and ruler, draw a grid over your drawing paper. DRAW THIS GRID VERY LIGHTLY since you don't want it to show on your finished drawing.
-What you are going to do now is draw your picture one square at a time. Choose a corner to start in. Draw in that square exactly what you see in the same corner square of your original. Don't worry about the over-all picture. Just draw one square.
-Then draw in the next square only what you see in the next square on the original. Keep doing this until every square is drawn.
-Lots of squares will be solid black, gray or white. Most of them will not seem like part of a person's face, when you look at only one at a time. That's the trick of drawing this way. By reducing it to small black and white squares, you take away the difficulty of trying to draw a full person. If any of the grid lines still show, erase them or smudge them with your finger so they will blend in.
-Your finished drawing should be a good likeness of the photo, and will look pretty impressive. To keep it from smudging you can spray it with a light coat of hairspray from an aerosol can.
-If you like your drawing of Miley Cyrus, there's no reason to stop with her. You can do portraits of your friends, yourself, your cat, or anyone else you have a photo of.
-Have fun!

I personally think that the human face is the hardest thing to draw...especially if you are trying to get a likeness from someone imparticular. It important to follow proportions but just pick something about that person that sticks out like freckles, glasses, uni brow etc....

The best teacher is yourself.

First, you should look at yourself in a mirror and make your own portrait, again and again until you get good resemblance.
After all, you are a cheap model for yourself and you can attempt a limitless number of portraits of yourself.
After that, identify "what makes this face different from any others" and go for your drawing.
Good luck

(P.S. I don't paint faces any more, but I went through that process and I can testify it is how one should learn)

I don't know any sites, but I am an awesome artist for 13. Get a well lighted photo of her and a well lighted, quiet area. Draw each line carefully, and VERY slow, until it's done. I understand it's time consuming, but practise drawing alot of things un til you get the hang of it. THIS ADVICE IS FOR EVERYONE WHO ISN'T GREAT AT ART!!!! I AM TRYING TO SPREAD ART FOR THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!
