If I have a paypal account but it is NOT linked to any bank accounts or debit cards, can I still receive payments and spend the money I am paid on eBay?

You can spend the money in your PayPal account if you are buying online, anywhere that accepts PayPal. To have the cash in hand, you would have to withdraw the funds and have PayPal send you a check (as you don't have a bank account to transfer the funds to). The check takes about 2 weeks to receive.

Last time I looked, you could pay a fee for a check to be mailed to you. If you're going to blow the money you could spend it on-line at merchants that take PayPal and avoid the fee.

i think if it's not linked to a bank accnt all you can do it use it to pay for other things.
i have mine linked so it just gets put in to my account.
maybe they send money orders... not 100% sure.
i would check the customer services area to see if they have a way to answer that there
