When it comes to natural beauty, Sydney is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Melbourne is flat and boring drained by a boring river into a boring bay. Melbourne has a lot of great things going for it but natural beauty is not one of them.

Sydney - The harbour, the beaches, the mountains

Melbourne has nothing. The dull Yarra River (a stream) and a bay.

Sydney. No question. No argument. Have you seen the Harbour and the beaches?

Melbourne has the Yarra River, of which it is said that the dirt floats on top. And Port Phillip Bay, which is just dreary.
