Ethics is moral values that people or yourself believe in. It can also be governing standards of how people are suppose to behave.

Yes you should consider ethics in your life because it will guide you to a stronger belief in what you believe is right from wrong. It can effect how you react to certain situations, who you should associated with, and predict what kind of person you will be when you grow older.

You can be more ethical in your behavior by first knowing what you strongly believe in to every good and bad situation, then in the future you can stay true to your beliefs.

Honestly you are your own person, you can think how ever you want... but just remember not everybody thinks the same way so that is why there are ethics to reveal right conducts towards relations with other people. To really change yourself you just have to follow with what you believe in or read good books/articles that can change your thoughts.

But in the end you will be yourself... "To thy self be true" - Shakespeare

Just remember that in the outside world there are certain ways to behave and think towards other people, so keep your own beliefs and ethics balance

Ethics is one of those wonderful categories of things that are almost entirely subjective. Some may consider it unethical to abort a child, while others think it unethical to bring a child into a life that doesn't have the capacity to properly care for the child. Same issue, but two entirely different ethical standards. Most people generally defer to the golden rule, do unto others as you would have them do unto you. If you take something from someone, aside from the criminal aspect, do you feel that you wronged them or deprived them of something that was rightfully theirs. If you answer that as yes, I did wrong them or deprive them of something that was rightfully theirs, then I would say that action was unethical by your standard of ethics.

Ethics are not universal.

Ethics are a code of behavior specific to one person, group, association or profession. They are a set of rules that you agree to follow to belong to that group or association.

Being ethical means following those rules. But the rules for different groups may be completely different. What is required by one group may be prohibited by another.

But being ethical means following the rules -- the rules that you have agreed to follow. The promises that you have agreed to make. So, being ethical (overall) is about personal integrity, and not being a hypocrite, and not breaking your word.
