I'd not prefer American cars because they are very bad handeling cars first of all, then they have very nasty interior Plastic mostly, huge V8's with retarded power and top speeds are a joke like the Caddilac CTS-V top end will do 165 mph where as the BMW M5 will do 204 mph (with the Limiter Removed though).

lemme me ask everyone answering this question if you were to buy a car and had a option between a CTS-V and an M5 what would you do well if you have something called common sense then you'd definetly buy the BMW M5 why cos its worth it, I mean caddilac had a Vette V8 which is one of the best engine's in modren history but jus couldnt use the whole of it, where as the BMW M5's V10 is so much more Sophisticated less Feul Consuming and more powerfull.

But in the end Europe has given us world records over world records like the McLaren F1, the Bugatti Veyron but I've never seen a car as good frm the colonials (west) and lets not bring up SSC and Saleen because they both have serious Reliability Issues, cannot goover a speed bump I cant believe that the Saleen and the SSC are road legal and they handle badly and the Ford GT is a complete european thing lets jus say made in Europe and assembled in USA.

So I'd choose Europeans then American.

Linkin Soldier what are the foreign vehicle interiors made out of?I think plastic just like American cars.American cars are just as reliable as any foreign car,had plenty of GM and Chryslers go over the 150,000 mile mark with no troubles.

Foreign cars, but that is pretty vague this days since so many are made in the USA.

European built - Audi R8
American built - BMW X5
Japanese built - Acura RL
American built - Acura TL

American is foreign to me so be a little bit more specific and don't assume the US is the centre of the universe, 'cos it isn't.

Personally, the new car of the year the Holden VE Commodore does it for me, which is Australian and we export them to the US as the Pontiac GTO and the Chevvy Lumina.

Foreign Cars, definitely.

It's too bad, I'd love to buy domestic, but they just aren't as good!
