It is really a shame. We are so worried about spending a extra few cents..that we have put our own country in jeapordy! There was a time when made in the USA meant a better product! Now it means cost more..that is what everyone thinks. But really are we saving? When we have so many people unemployed..or working for low wages and still needing assistance. I think not, taxes are sky high, etc. etc. if we kept our people here working, we would have less problems. The cost alone for welfare..heathcare..childcare..housing..etc. etc. far exceeds what we would pay for our own products made here.
Bottom line, the almighty dollar! We just love a sale..oh nothing is cheap...we are paying a far higher price in the long run. I believe USA & world news reports newspaper is owned by a company in China!!!! I read that a while back..I was amazed. Now I try to find clothes..items etc. that say made in the USA and I buy them! Not easy to find, so sad.

Cheaper labor . Did you notice that most of the souvenirs around the world are made in China as well ? Kind of ironic innit ?
