You "thinked" long &hard???Is the booggy man real or the grim reaper just use common sense. According to the myth if you see the grim reaper,as your friend claims he has, death quickly follows. Sounds like too much time on your hands to me, get off the couch & out of the house. Go volunteer at a youth center, senior center, go to the library, find a worthwile project .
You want something to ponder about .....who's hungry &/or homeless within 10 miles of you....

Death is real and the Grim Reaper is a symbol of Death. but in my personal opinion when Death comes he/she will look the way you want him/her to look. I don't think Death is an ugly or evil Being.

The grim reaper is Death. He is supposed to be sent to take people into the other life once they have passed on. I don't believe in him. Death, the other name the grim reaper goes by is different from "death" itself. Two totally different things. "death" is real..."Death" is not.

Ask Wacko Warner. The Reaper almost quit his day job after that episode. Seriously, there are many reapers in many forms. The only time we know who they are though is when our "number" is up.

in a way yes, he also takes the form of Karon, the ferryman who takes lost souls across the river styx to the underworld, for 2 coins (this is where the term who pays the ferryman comes from, and also the european tradition of putting a coin on each eye of a dead person to pay the ferryman), also he takes the form of the ghost of christmas yet to come, in charles dickens 'a christmas carol, they signify doubt and the unknown

They are multiple grims in this world and your friend did not see one, the myth says death shortly follows, and by shortly they mean very short, like within an hour
