No, it's automated. That's why even the most innocuous questions get deleted if they are from the "wrong" person. Someone with multiple IDs and time on their hands can report the same person over and over again regardless of actual content. The only reason it happens more in the religion and politics sections is those sections attract more flakes.

Not really. It relies on the stool pigeons to make it work and then they investigate, try and convict you. So they police, adjudicate and incarcerate rather than moderate.

yes, but they are highly biased... they only moderate the answers/questions that hey have pre conceived opinions of.. mainly religious and racial issues..

I don't believe they look into every incident of "abuse" that is reported.
