We love playing board games at our house. One of our favorites for a large group is called Apples to Apples. Its a really fun game of comparision that kids and adults can play. For two people, I would suggest Boggle. Risk is good for a large or small group, if you have the time.

if u have up to 8 people at a table u can play buzz a ps2 game that can play up to 8 players and its lots of fun or u don't have a ps2 then i would say uno or pictionary
