a successful gnome kill, always depends on the bait you use, time of night, day of the week, and amount of sun spots...normally for all my gnome hunting, we prefer the minature pink flamingo bait, always hunt on a day ending in 'Y' and typically dawn or early morning is prime gnome hunting time~

There kinda small so shooting them might be hard unless you used a shotgun, that would work. but personally I think a hand weapon such as a knife or a bat would work better although you would have to catch them first hmmm OH a net you could use a net first chuck the net at it and then use your... uhhh... your... ummm...... OH frying pan that would work good ya. Use your frying pan to beat them to death. And to make sure they are dead shoot them with the shotgun once or twice.
Thats just my opinion. And a damn good one if I do say so myself ( ( ((KRAKOW)) ) ) *that was the shotgun*
