I think I wanted to be a chef. But I'm not sure that I really wanted to be or not. You know they said you won't know until you know that you are or you are not. I can't experience my self so I'm not sure that I really want. I'm kind of afraid that It could be a mistakes.

They say Chef is job for only hardcore. I'm kind of soft person. Even though I'm man. I'm not sure that I like cooking. I mean basically I like cooking than most of other thing. And I'm good at cooking. But I'm not that sure about make a living for it. There's only two career that I wanted to be and I know that I'm good at. Mentall Therapist or Chef.

I'm confused. I don't even know my favorite color. How can I choose my career? They say if you really like it, than your heart beating fast but I don't know what it is. Yeah, my heart beating fast when I work out!

Well anyway, The question is simple. What it likes to be a chef?

You are right that it's hardcore. You work 70+ hours a week. That's working at home too. It's not the lifestyle they show on those reality shows. It's hot, sweaty, dirty, stressful, but you have to do it for the love of the food, cooking, and customers, not the money. If you have that love, you'd do great. There are bills to pay, employees to manage, being creative in the off hours trying to come up with new specials. Things break down and you have to deal with it in the middle of a busy dinner hour. Distributors don't show up. Employees steal. Even if you loved cooking, that's not the only job. It's like babysitting and fixing problems instead of focusing on cooking. It's a crazy lifestyle, no nights or weekends to yourself, not getting to bed until 4 a.m.

In retrospect it was fun in a way, but I'd never do it again.
