Haven't seen a watermelon like that in a while, have you had one lately?

Didn't know there was any other kind.. we prefer Black Diamond watermelons.. and they have big black seeds... suitable for seed spitting contests....

Personally, I do not. I do prefer to buy the ones with seeds though - they taste much better then the genetically mutated seedless ones. However, there are other countries where watermelon seeds are popular such as China. They scorch the outside and eat the kernels inside. Also, nurtition wise, they do contain zinc and iron.

Yeah. "Seedless watermelon" is a lie. Just because the seeds are white does not mean it is seedless.

The store near me offers a choice of seeded or non and silly me picked the seeded... never again. My kids complained so much about the seeds.

I prefer the ones with seeds because I suspect that the seedless type are genetically modified and that makes them wrong in my book.

Yes, the market gardeners here sell those. They have way more flavour than the seedless ones. Any garden produce is better than the mass-produced, GM crap.
