What does the record button do on the controller for phillips flat screen ?

Does the t.v. itself have an internal hard drive to record media too? or is this for an external device that connects to the t.v.?

Lost my manuel during a move and hoping someone in here could give me any info.

Look on the Phillips website, they may have a manual you can download to print.

You could look on http://www.philips.com/ for a manual. It is likely, however, that the button is to control a Phillips VCR or DVR
