That means your baby dropped.

It's just about the exact same thing.

(also, I answered that one too.)

What you're feeling is completely normal. It's pretty early for you, but it's normal nonetheless. That is just the baby moving around inside your pelvis (the baby has settled low and his/her head is right settling in). The baby is putting pressure on your pelvic bone and cervix, which can cause severe sharp pains that last a couple seconds when the baby moves its head.
You're normal.
Don't worry.
=)

(I get those pains CONSTANTLY, so I know exactly what you're talking about).

I had 3 babies and what causes me every time the sharp pain was the effacement and dilation of the cervix, the baby was very low and pressing very hard against the lower wall of the cervix (from where it will come out). With the last 2 pregnancies I was 3 cm dilated starting at 28 and 30th week (last time had to be in bed rest for 6 weeks because the baby could come out any minute if I keep doing my regular life). You should see the Dr. to double check your cervix.
For me every time I had the pain was because of that. I remember that it felt like a knife cutting me down there.

I am preg and i have the same thing but i'm only 2 months. There is two things it could be one it could be the baby pushing on something or it could be you are still making room for the baby. But i think the best thing you could do is call your doc as soon as you can best of luck.

I do believe I had the same pain when I was that far along, personally I decided that it was normal and that it was my son had dropped done and was moving his head. At least that was the only thing I could thank of.

I had that too and worried about it.. actually I think I got those in the first trimester... but my baby was healthy. I would ask your dr though just to be safe.

I got that when I had a UTI (urinary tract infection) if it hasn't eased up by your next OB appt. tell the doc and he/she will check you for a UTI....

Good luck with the new little one!
