He is letting me borrow the truck. He loves the truck more than he loved me (that's why I broke it off with him). He is at work right now and does not know.

HOW SHOULD I TELL HIM????????????

(I am ok by the way and the damage is not real bad. Just some small dents.)

New York Gal: I hate it too. I hit one once before in my own car. I don't know how badly this one was hurt, he did run away before I could find out.

Yes insurance is great. But you don't know how much he loves this truck!!! I am very, very nervous.

Be honest... it's not like you did anything wrong, just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Just be honest. This stuff happens and he should understand. Its not like you ran off the road to hit the deer. Good luck and hope he isn't to pissed. Also if the dents are minor they can be popped back out.

Oh, no. I hate it when a deer gets hits by a truck, poor baby. Maybe the deer didn't get hurt badly and ran back into the woods.

Hey it's wildlife and you have no control over it. How can he blame you for that? He can claim it on insurance and get it repaired.
