LOL My hubbie goes on biz trips all over the place and I get stuck with the kids. I am planning a girls week in Denver. Should I ask or just say I am going?

Tell him you're going and say you've already got the tickets and reservations and if he asks to see the proof, say your friend is holding on to them so your kids wouldn't get to them. Make sure to inform your friends of your plan/lie so that if he goes to them they know what to say...

They would probably say you need permission, but I say let them know you'll be leaving and just go. I'm sure you deserve a break.

What kind of authority figure actually ASKS if he/she may go have fun...? KIDS ask; adults just say they're going. Why? Because they can! Just tell your family you're going to go.

I would tell him he is responsible for childcare and tell him nicely that you plan on going on this trip. Have a great time!

Say you're going, you deserve time to yourself and your pals without your family.

I wouldn't let you go if you were my wife. You are too hot. You might not come home.
