The chevy astro will last a good long time. With some TLC and the normal maintanace you will get some great miles out of the astro. My brother has a 98 astro passenger driven daily by him or his wife.Today we replaced the heater core that was leaking. He thought the heater core should have lasted longer.I told him after 260.000 miles some things wear out.He told me he wants to drive his astro a least another ten years.I think it will make it for sure.Best of luck.

they Chevy astro is a very nice van that bridges the gap between big 16 passenger/cargo vans, and minivans. in my opinion not to big and not to small, just right. (as far as reliable i have a 20 year old Chevy that still has most of its original parts.)

A Van is not a good choice for a first car as they are top heavy. Suggest starting with something a little lower and then getting a Van.

sounds like engine misfiring. positioned it in force, carry down the brake with one foot mutually as giving it gas with the different foot so as that the engine's straining against the brakes. (make useful no longer something's in front of the van!) If it shakes, the engine's misfiring.
