When you filp the coin it is a 1:1 toss therefore it will be heads 3 times and tails 3 times out of those 6. That is what the odds are.

Because of symmetry it is 1/2 the probability that you do not get three heads and three tails.

P(H > 3) = (1/2)[1 - P(H = 3)] = (1/2)[1 - (6C3)(1/2)^6]

P(H > 3) = (1/2)[1 - 20/64] = (1/2)(44/64) = 22/64

P(H > 3) = 11/32 = 0.34375

(0.5+0.5)^6
p = (6C0+6C1+6C2).5^6 = .34375
----------
A different way is
(1 - 6C3*0.5^6)/2 = .34375
