What a doofus Lord Voldercrap is....
Sack races are always fun. You can use large pillow slips.
Or just tie one leg of each team member together with rope. Or duct tape! For the three legged race.
An egg on the spoon passed to each team player.
Water balloon toss player to player down the line...last team not broken gets corn on the cob! LOL.
Sounds like a great time.
You could also do a treasure hunt type thing...with clues to find stuff. The older kids get a kick out of reading and figuring out clues and puzzles. Or if you have the room...staple paper plates with directions to the trees and do a trail rally...make sure you don't lose anyone! LOL. Or a "find it" game...like they find a pinecone, and a leaf, and a bug....in teams with the bigger kids looking out and helping the little ones, and collect and find stuff for a prize. Just some ideas.

Ooops...after thought. Have you ever heard of snipe hunting??? I grew up in rural Florida....I always heard about the snipes. My uncles would hide out in the brush and "rustle" the leaves...no jumping out or anything...just rustle. That was more scarry than anything else! The not knowing of it all. Hee hee. There is no such thing as a snipe.

OOps...another thought....bobbing for apples! Wash up your towels!!!! Or get a big roll of Bounty! LOL. That is always great just for an accent at a fall party. Kinda sets the mood to say....we are at the festival.

You could set up a maze using corn stalks for everyone to walk through, or use bales of hay so people have to crawl through - make it game and time people.

Carve pumpkins or paints gords - paint each other's faces.

Have fun!
