so there's this guy i met from my dad because his dad is my dad's friend. he's a big flirt so i thought he liked me but then i found out he has a girlfriend. as much as i try to get over him, i just can't. i'm supposed to be doing alot of things with him this summer because my dad invited him. but now his parents and my dad aren't really that close anymore because something happend. we're supposed to be doing something next weekend but i'm not sure if he's going now. and when i ask my dad he goes "if he wants to go then he could come along". but i dont know how that's going to happen because it's a far trip so it needs to be planned and they need to meet up. i dont know what to do because i want him to go but i dont want to bring it up in front of my dad too much. how could i get him to go? what should i say to my dad?

If the boy was asked to go on the trip and knows all about it, Which you said he was already invited, then his parents or this boy will call to confirm the trip. Or your Parents will call them...... If not, then you really need to let it go. Since your parents are not getting along with his parents at the moment.
Also, the only reason you want him to go is because you have a crush on him, but yet he already has a girlfriend. You will only get heartbroken.

you need to slow down and let them decide what to do. he is and was your dad's friend, let it go.
