I am not sure what you mean by target, but if you make under 750K a year you should be a Republican because they pass laws to benefit the rich and the RICH ONLY. They will give you a small pitence of taxes back to make it look like they are generous then they turn around and pass laws to charge more for the drugs you need or the college tuition fees. You think you are getting something and they are still screwing you. Democrats are known to help the poor and tax the rich who can afford it. Why do you think that they hate them so much??? Why do you think we were in the black with Clinton and in the red now with Bush??? Why do you think that things are so screwed up? Why we are being charged up the wazooo for gas. Who do you think is getting rich off of OUR money??? All those oil guys at the top of the corporations have bought and paid for Bush and his administration. Wake up america!! You are all sheep!!

That is the traditional target for Marxists. They usually have a narrow-based point of view and have a difficult time seeing beyond their own problems/lack of experience to the big picture. The Republicans target the Middle Class because they are the people who experience the benefits of capitalism the most but really, it is the same sort of idea. In a republic, one generally doesn't target people who are unlikely to vote for you.

What I don't understand is why Republicans seem to like globalism. The 2-4% of the population that is rich is irrelevant in a republic. Globalism by nature shrinks the Middle Class and increases the lower classes proportions. The Republicans have been the larger party for many years now but that won't continue if their base shrinks and that of the Democrats grows.

You are misinformed/confused about the demographics of the electorate.

The Democratic party gains more of the vote of the poorer segments of the population because those are the people who are hoping for a more equitable society, and Democrats tend to work for a more equitable society.

The makeup of the Democratic party is very evenly distributed across all age ranges.

The demographic data indicates that people of HIGHER intelligence tend to vote Democratic, while those of lower intelligence tend to vote Republican.

I know you probably don't like that, but those are the facts. You can check this out with the Gallup Organization and other poll takers on their web sites.

Thanks a lot. I'm a democrat, hard working, 60 years old, and above average IQ, and have very good morals. I think life is better when the democrats are running things. That's why I vote for them.

If you have a heart beat, they want your vote. Their promise of a free handout is very enticing to the ignorant.
