I have voted Republican every time but once, since turning 18. I won't go into any details, but sufficed to say, I have seen the inside of a courtroom more than a few times. If you have any facts to support this claim, I'm all ears, but if not, I suggest you realize that there are convicted criminals voting within any political party.

I vote democrat. No conviction of crime here. I have great morals, am hard working, and am no socialist or communist. Life is better when the democrats are running the show.

First you need a source to prove this point. ASSUMING you are right, democrats tend to challenge the government and question things, making them targets. Another possiblity democrats are usually the "average" man and cannot afford the representation that get them clear of charges.

Assuming your statistics are correct, two possible reasons.

First, because Democrats tend to be more liberal, and thus more likely to do what they want regardless of what the law says. So, more minor criminal incidents (misdemeanors).

Two, because Democrats actually tend to (at least pay lip service to) enforce the constitutional provisions of the 6th Amendment, which is what guarantees a fair trial and no lynchings.

As a flaming liberal convicted felon I can only say that our party embraces that lifestyle and rewards us with freebies like welfare if we vote for them and act like bad boys to scare the Conservative right church goers.
