Is it a real mouse? How large is the mouse? Distance between mouse and cotton, cosistency of cotton, gravity? or is the cotton on diaper around the mouse.
Answer- No it shouldnt make a sound, unless you have planted some moisture detector electrodes within the cotton diaper to alert you of a change from dry to wet., and this electrode is set to trigger a bell of some kind.
Lesson- A good engineer can make anything make a sound with the correct equipment.

You betcha! Big time. Those poor little mites they're peeing on. Not only do they hear it but they have to evacuate their homes. And THEY don't have insurance to cover the damages or costs.
