Nowadays, when people talk of Palawan, they inevitably refer to El Nido, Amanpulo, and for divers, Tubbataha.

Yet, my most unforgettable experience in Palawan is when I stayed in Puerto Princesa, and joined a tour of the Underground River. The place is majestic, magical even. For some reason, it felt like I was in a scene from Phantom of the Opera.

Have you experienced this magic? Or do you plan to do this one day?

Hi Fides, I stayed at the Legend Hotel. Right in Puerto Princesa. And if you are going, do not miss Ka Louie's for dinner.

Underground Rivers in Palawan is one of the most precious and protected areas not only in the Philippines but the Whole ASIA and the World.

It's one of a kind treasures that we had and we should be proud and need to take care for our next and future generations.
