okay. they will take you to a dressing room and have you just lift your arms up. you don't have to take off your shirt or anything. you can wear your regular sports bra, padded, etc.

When I was measured I was wearing my regular clothes. My measurement was off a couple of sizes. I started with the size my measurement said I needed and it was WAY too big. I eventually went down 2-3 sizes and found a bra that fit perfectly. That was almost a year ago and Ive only bought that brand since.

Both can happen. The best results are to take your bra and shirt off, but remember, these ladies are very mature and they do it all the time, just like a doctor. They don't judge you. But you can also be measure with everything on, I've been measured once and the lady did it right there! LOL, but I had my shirt on and everything. It wasn't that accurate though, she said I was a D cup, I thought I was a C cup, but maybe I am. :/

Victoria's Secret does it with your clothes on.
Before they measure, say that you're wearing a bra. You just lift your arms and they wrap it around to find your band size. Then, if you are wearing a padded bra, you have to take it off. So don't wear a padded bra! After that, they measure for cup size and you go off and find your bra.
It's nothing at VS. Good luck!

As far as I know you can be measured over your shirt or with a bra on. But if you want comfort from a bra, Victoria Secret is worth it. I don't care what age you are, it sucks enough getting used to a new body let alone the discomfort from low-quality bras.

Generally you wear nothing on top. But Im sure you could wear a singlet/undershirt as long as it didnt change the shape of your breasts.
Just tell the lady you dont feel comfortable without a top on, she wont mind. That way she will wait outside while you actually try on the Bras.

You can wear your bra. You can measure yourself at home. Just wrap the tape measure(preferably a cloth seamstress tape. Its just more comfy that way.) Around your self right under your breast. Whatever that measure is in inches add three inches. Different companies make their cups differently, so try on several of a couple different cup sizes to find just the right fit for you.

I have been measured through my clothes. my first time I was naked and as embarrassing as it was she was a lady in her mid 50's (it was 20 years ago and I still remember) and had the look of "done it a million times" on her face. Just go into the store and ask how they measure. It is probably different and different stores. Find one tht suits you

You can wear a thin undershirt if you're shy. You shouldn't have too much fabric.
Here's the technique:
