Who would think it would be fair that Bond gave up 1/2 of the HR's that where obtained during the time he was on the juice.
But still credited for those that were hit after the leauge finally got
pushed to open their "self closed eyes"! The Babe did not have juice.

Well, from the first 9 that replied I felt compelled to rephrase my meaning of "fair".
Proven or not in your mind, if Bonds gained from usage, would you not consider that to be cheating ? And what would happen if tech came up with the ability to inhance the human body to play even better ball with implants? would that be OK? Someone made comment about the possibility about the Babe being on juice. The only juice he was on was vodka ,cigarettes, and women. I wish not to agree or disagree. Just want to hear a "point of veiw".

It would be very unfair to take away the home runs that Barry hit while he was supposedly on steroids. If his home runs are taken away, it would only be fair to take away the home runs from the players who either have actually failed a drug test (Palmeiro), admitted to taking them (Giambi), or who have been suspected of taking them (McGwire, Sosa, Sheffield, etc). What about the pitchers who have failed a drug test?
Do we take away their wins too?
The only reason that anyone gives a crap about Bonds and his supposed steroid use, is that he broke McGwire's record for most HR's in a season, and he's about to break Aaron's all time record. Seems that no one gives a crap about McGwire's supposed steroid use when he was bringing the game of baseball back into the lives and the living rooms of the fans.
I think that all of the self-righteous fans who are so quick to condemn barry for supposedly taking steroids, should shut the hell up already. He's never failed a test since steroids were deemed illegal by Mr. Selig, and until he does, he'll be the home run king to me.

okay, barry bonds has never tested positive for steroids. and besides that the years he is accused of using steroids, baseball had no rule banning the use of them. he hit home runs off pitchers that could have been using and hit homers over the gloves of fielders that could have been using. the playing field was even. hell, jose canseco and ken camineti, baseballs only confessed users were never able to hit 750 plus home runs. steroids don't make you hit home runs. anyone that thinks that should juice up and step into the box against a roger clemens (who could have used as well) or a randy johnson (maybe him too) and hit one 400 to deep center.

That's a pretty ignorant statement. I am a Bonds supporter, however, why would it be okay to just take away homers and not doubles and triples, RBI, Runs, OBP. I mean there is a lot more than just HRs to take into consideration.
It's not logical!
I see no problem with Bonds being questioned but just like he is then so should A-Rod, Griffey, McGwire, yada, yada, yada! We can all speculate who did and who didn't, but in the end WE DON'T KNOW A DAMN THING and we may never know!

No it wouldnt be fair. While I do believe that Bonds did steroids, he never tested positive for them and because of that he is still innocent.

Home runs are not something that can be taken or given away. The total is simply a count of something that happened, not what people think should have happened.

i think about 40 percent would be fair, not half. if you look at his career numbers, once he started doing the drugs, his homerun totals went up around 40 percent, so i think that percentage of homeruns should be either deleted from his total, or put the 40 percent into the steriod home run column along with mcguire, sosa, palmaro, and giambi.

NO, THERE IS NO TEST FOR HUMAN GROWTH HORMONE. HE IS STILL TAKING IT, EVERYONE TAKES IT. UNTIL THERE IS A TEST, EVERYBODY WILL CONTINUE TO TAKE IT. HOW DID BASEBALL FANS BECOME SO SELFISH? ITS NOT ABOUT THE STATS, HOW ABOUT THE GAMES THAT WERE WON? IT IS SO MUCH BIGGER THAN BARRY OR ANY OF THE OTHER JUICERS. WHAT ABOUT THE SANCTITY OF THE GAME? ITS ALL RUINED! BASEBALL SUCKS FOREVER!
