Absolutely. I mean I'm not saying there were no problems and I'm sure they had people who were just as corrupt as most are today. But looking at the big picture, I would say most had better values in the past. Actually not so much better but different. The values still stand today I think they just don't apply to as many as they used too. In the world we live in, it's hard to keep your values when there is so much pressure to give in.

Well, it depends on the particular value. Each generation have a set of values that are better and worth keeping.

There is absolutely no question that people had better values in the past. Each decade keeps getting worse.

I think so. For instance, movies that were rate R fifty years ago are now considered PG-13! It's amazing at how in just a couple of years thing that were considered bad are now a normal part of life! : (
