First of all -- it's joke post. Has to be.

Second of all, it has nothing to do with socialism or communism. Socialism is govt-control over primary industry. Communism is complete govt-control over all property. This bill doesn't have anything to do with property ownership or industry regulation, so it has nothing to do with socialism or communism.

And come to think of it -- hasn't the Republican party line always been to completely stop all immoral behavior and regulate what people say and do.

But until you can find it on the Library of Congress, I'm convinced it has to be a joke -- or the newsperson who reported is just completely making things up.

Your reference is obviously made up rubbish but I can imagine 10% of the population accepting it as gospel.
Once again we see socialism reviled . It is not a function of socialism to control primary industries. It is in fact done by all forms of government for various reasons. Haven't you heard of subsides being paid by right wing governments to support certain commodities. Or is that not a socialistic act because it is done by a capitalist inspired regime?

Just a quick note, communism is the ultimate end goal of Marx and has never been reached. Socialism is the nationalizing of industries.
