Only 3 Gwynn's have ever made a major-league 40-man roster (as of today):
1. Tony Gwynn; just inducted into the Hall of Fame, played 1982 to 2001 for the Padres and amassed 3141 career hits
2. Tony Gwynn Jr., his son; OF for the Brewers and was recently optioned to AAA; he's batting .274 this year with 8 steals
3. Chris Gwynn, Tony's brother; played 1987-1996 for the Dodgers, Royals, and Padres as a relatively poor-hitting outfielder

Tony Gwynn Jr. is an outfielder for the Milwaukee Brewers. Chris Gwynn, Tony Sr's brother played for the Los Angeles Dodgers in the late 80s - early 90s.

Are you asking about Tony Gwynn sr. who was just inducted into the hall of fame? His son Tony Gwynn jr. was just optioned by the Brewers to AAA. Hope it helps, I don't know any other Gwynn in baseball.

Tony Gynn Jr. on the Milwaukee Brewers. He was up for a short period and I think is back in the minors.

Looks to me that the Angels have just brought up someone from their farm system named Gwyn, he pitched the 9th tonight. The other Gywnn that I know of was Chris Gywnn, brother of Tony, although he is no longer playing.
