In all seriousness, what has this illegal invasion and occupation accomplished ???

I said that the "invasion" and "occupation" were ILLEGAL. I don't see much of a war in a country where American troops are being used to protect contractors, and getting killed in the process. Or are simply being caught in the crossfire...I don't see much of a war when innocent civilians are being killed everyday...for no reason other than that they are Iraqis.

not much at all people are being blown up everyday... we didn't even find WMD's remember the main reason for going...

First off, there are no experts concerning the war on terror. This is new ground.
As far as accomplishments - I believe the most significant one is the absolute fact that the terrorists can no longer believe that they can slaughter thousands of innocent men, women and children with impunity - there will be serious consequences for their actions.

We got rid of a murderous dictator, Saddam & the country has now experienced free elections.
Now whether more harm than good has occured is another subject!

We have made alot of defense contractors, and security support corporations very wealthy. At 2 Billion dollars per week ! That is alot of materials and manpower, with no end in sight.

Well, there was someone on here last night saying that now Iraqi's can get tattoos and buy guitars. She was quite ecstatic about it too. So I would have to say, tattoos and guitars. ;-)
