U can delete the Browsing History by going to
Tools --> Internet Options --> Clear History.
Also u can give Delete cookies and Delete files in the same Window.
U can set the "Days to keep in History" to be 0.
It is easier to use the program ccleaner (Crap cleaner) available at filehippo.com, to clean the browser history, cookies and temporary files. It cans also clear history of all Word, paint and other documents too.
Also u cand disable the History in the browser u r using so that no history is stored...
Do star or give best answer if this cleared ur query...

Depends on what level of security you want... if you just want to free up space, you go to Internet Options (I'm assuming you're using Internet Explorer) and then to delete temporary history, cookies, etc...
If you want to make it where no one will ever be able to recover them, you could get a screwdriver and a hammer, open up your computer case, remove your hard drive, prise it open with the screwdriver, and then smash the little shiny spinning thing into a million pieces (it'll shatter like glass, literally.)
