Why do you think women recieve far less punishment than men for the same crimes?

Women teachers having sex with their students get probation, If it were a man they would get a minimum 5 years

Let's take a logical approach to this, OK?

A buxom, sizzilin' hot honey woman and some frumpy, floppy foot guy w/ a marked "5 o'clock" face shadow, dressed in soiled jogging clothes both are facing the judge for the SAME criminal offense.

Of the two defendants....which one you think the judge would like to, in private, receive an "oral presentation" from???

I think because normally women have reason behind their crimes as mostly men don't. Men have always been known to be more powerful and the desider in a relationship and when women do crimes relating to the killing of their husband or something along those lines pysical or verbal abuse is a popular motive for the killing. Since Women can't often quite protect themselves against mean and abusive men. But in a killing resulting from a man killing his wife the motive is quite different. The man was having an affair the man's wife was pregnant and having a child and he didn't want a child and so on. I am not defending any type of killing but every so often when a female committs a crime every factor has to be looked into. And they should be charged with crime they commited if convicted.
To respond to your addictional detail: The male got more time because he got charged with more counts and felonies then the female.

Because women bear our young and are considered less violent. Plus, they can look more pathetic on the witness stand.
