i want to buy one of these but not sure which one...could someone tell me which is better and why

xbox 360- has the best upcoming games and has the best graphics out of the 3

It shouldn't be a hard decision deciding which console you want to buy.
If you want to play mostly games that are more interactive for children under 13 buy the Wii.
If you a gamer and you had a PS2 and/or PS1 and want the best gaming console with the best line up of upcoming games, with great games out now, buy the PS3. I have the 60GB version and believe me it is truly the future of gaming. Yes the PS3 does cost more, but you always pay more for the best. The PS3 plays Blu-Ray DVD's, regular DVD's, CD's, PS1 games, PS2 games and other video formats. The PS3 has built in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, multiple camera memory card readers, the Sixaxis motion sensor controller and more.
I'm not going to even mention anything about buying a Xbox 360 because they are so faulty, almost everyday on Yahoo Answers I read something about a Xbox owner that has sent in their Xbox for repair, or they just got the "ring of death" and the system has malfunctioned. Don't even waste money on this piece of crap.

It all depends on what you're looking for. Wii is fun and easy and is oriented towards family and just pure fun. 360 is more towards great games and graphics with all the leading games plus halo 3 and Gears of War etc. PS3 has same graphics as 360 and most of the games Xbox 360 does. Hope this helps.

Xbox 360: Best overall- Graphics, Live, FPS, Good games
Wii: Family oriented, for young kids
PS3: Media player (Blu-Ray, Media card reader)
The best thing to do is get "Wii60", where you can get a Wii + a 360 for cheaper than PS3. With the new price drops on August 8, you'll be able to get a Wii and an Xbox 360 for $550, still cheaper than the PS3

Wii: Family fun game, 30 minutes a day fun bored easy.
PS3: only good with hdtv for graphics, games r crap none hardly out
360: great shooters driving action everything even without good tv and good games , halom gears of war, ext.
